Again?

So, unlucky me has mastitis AGAIN. I am feeling terrible.. I went to the doc yesterday, and I had a fever of 104.. When I woke up this morning it was 103. I can't believe I got it twice. It totally sucks. Anyways.. Just wanted everyone to know how lousy I am feeling.. Talk to you soon. S

BUT I DON'T WANNA GO!

Thats what I am feeling right now.. I do not want to go to the soccer game today! It is freakin freezing out. I am even cold IN MY HOUSE! GRRR. When will the sun be out? Only 3 more games until the end of the season. Thank goodness!

Blah b blah b blah blah blah

Not much new here.. Just getting back into the swing of things at work, and trying to keep up the house and dinners. It is so hard to be a working mom sometimes. I know, cry me a river.. or, would you like some cheese with that whine.. I am really wishing that I could stay home with my girls right now, but at the same time, I am very blessed to have the job I have. It was nice to get a paycheck the otherday, but I would much rather get paid in baby smiles. Oh well, it is what it is.

And in Peyton news, we have a roller! She is rolling over both ways now. She rolled over for the 1st time from front to back while we were on vacation, and then just last week she rolled from back to front. The girl is also the biggest flirt! If you just catch her eye at all, she will smile at you. And not just any smile either. A GREAT BIG toothless grin. I love it!

Maddy is great, doing fantastic in school. Just about ready to move on up into the
1st grade! Crazy isn't it. Alex will be going into 4 pre-school in the fall as well. Just this afternoon, after Maddy was done with her reading homework she has everynight, Alex came up to me and told me she wanted to "read" it to me as well. Not thinking anything of it, I said, "sure kid, come on over" and what does she do? READS the entire thing! Ok ok, I know she probably memorized what Maddy had said, and the pictures helped, but still.

10 Years Ago..

Wow, 10 years ago I was a jr in high school, swimming like a fish, working at the pool as a lifeguard & swimming instructor & who knows what else. I actually HATED my Jr year in highschool. It was, and still is the worst year of my life. I only had one good friend that year. Jaime. She was my best friend, and I would still consider her one of my best friends today. Thanks J! (oh, Sr. year was MUCH better. I met Trav & life was good again.)

What would I do if I suddenly became a billionaire

I would quit my job to stay home with my 3 daughters. I would probably have my tubes untied and have a couple more kids too. I love my babies! Well, maybe I would adopt instead. I would give my house away, and build the home of my dreams. Actually I would probably build a few homes of my dreams. One in Mac, close to family, one in Hawaii, one in Anaheim right next door to Disneyland, and one somewhere else. Not sure where. I would pay off everyone in my immediate families mortgages, and buy a house for those in my immediate fam, who don't own a house.. I would take all of my friends on a cruise to the Caribiean. I would eventually go back to school to become a nurse. And I would buy a REALLY nice new Camera! And give some to my Church. Probably a whole lot more, but I don't want to think about it anymore. :-)

2. I like to sleep in on the weekends. I make Maddy get her & Alex's breakfast usually. Don't call CDS!

What's my name Momma?

I am sure my baby girl Peyton would ask that question above if she could talk. The poor girl has so many nicknames! Let's see if I can name them all right now.

That's all I can think of right now. But don't you agree we are probably confusing the poor thing! I just took her in for her 4 month well baby check today. She is healthy as can be and growing like a weed! Today she is 15 lbs 5 oz, 25 1/2 tall, with a 16 1/2 head. Her weight is in the 90th percentile, her length is in the 85-90th percentile, and her head is in the 70th percentile. She received 4 shots, poor thing. Alex had to get 3 shots today too. That wasn't fun at all. Because she KNEW what to expect. She did great though, and got a sucker, which made her very happy.

Disney recap.. Finally!

So I am finally getting around to posting about our wonderful trip to Disneyland! We all had a fantastic time. The girls were all amazing. Not one problem that was so bad I remember it. :-) It was awesome! The first night/day, was exhausting. The hotel we stayed at the night before our flight was nice, but the beds were horrible! I can honestly say I did not get one hour of sleep that night. We were up & going at 3:00 a.m for our 6:30 flight. We thought we needed to be there extra early seeing as it was the 1st day of spring break. And we were sort of right. We, for the most part, breezed right through security. Which, with 3 small kiddo's, was a pain in booty! We got to LA around 11:50, and drove to Anaheim, where we went straight to Downtown Disney since we couldn't get into the house until 3:00, which actually turned out to be 4:00, but that's a long story. Once we got into the house, we took a small break, unpacked a little, then headed to our 1st night at Disneyland! We stayed at Disneyland until 11:00 that night. Boy were we exhausted when we were through! When we went to bed that night we crashed!

On Sunday, which happend to be Easter Sunday, we went to California Adventures for the day. Getting there at 10:00 staying until they closed at 10;00. It was alot of fun!

Monday, was Trav & my's 7th wedding anniversary. And we were at Universal Studios. We met up with Heather, Austin's girlfiend that day. We went to this place called IFLY, which is indoor skydiving. It was AWESOME! The afternoon at Universal, felt like a waste of money. It felt like we spent more time in traffic getting there, then in the actual park.

Tuesday, Miss Maddy's 6th Birthday, was spent at Disneyland, and then at California Adventures where we had dinner with the princesses.. What a WASTE of money! All 10 of us went, and the total bill was over $450.00! I couldn't believe it. Oh well, the girls enjoyed it, and that is the important part.

Wed, was at Sea World! That was a ton of fun. Alex LOVES the dolphins! I think I may have a marine biologist on my hands. She pet some of them, and just couldn't get enough. Grandma and Grandpa bought her a stuffed dolphin, that she named Diego, and she would make him do the tricks that she saw the real dolphins doing. Unfourtunatly she lost Diego somewhere between the rental house and home.. Not sure where. My dad saved the day and ordered her another one from Sea World.com. So she will have him in a couple of days. :-) Thanks DAD!

Thursday & Friday we were back at Disneyland. We totally took advantage of our last two days there, fitting in as much as possible. I had such a great time with my family! Yay! I just wish I hadn't been SO croweded. Hopefully when we go back we will pick a better time to visit. Like the 1st week of December in 2013.. When Peyton turns 6.. Hmmm.. Better start saving!

Miss Peyton is 4 months old!

Our little miss Peyton is 4 months old already! She is growing like a weed, and is such a happy girl. She has now rolled over, and is wanting really badly to sit up on her own. I am still nursing her too. What a blessing that is! She started daycare on April 1st, and it doing great there. I wish I could stay home with my girls, but I can't so back to work I went. The first week back was really hard, but it is over now, so that's good right?! Anyways, here are some pictures I took of Peyton on 4/2/08, her 4 month birthday.. Enjoy! Stace

Hi to everyone who reads my blog! I know it's been a while since I have posted.. I have been very busy since our fantastic trip to Disneyland. We got back this last Saturday, and I have not stopped going since. I am now back to work, and busier then ever. I promise to update with pictures soon! And Away We Go!!

Today is the day! We are leaving this afternoon/evening to go to a hotel by the airport so we only have to get up at 3:30 am instead of 2:00 am... And so that we don't have to park at the airport, we can leave our car at the hotel. I just can't believe that we are going already! It seems like just yesterday I was pregnant with Maddy, talking about how when she turns 6 we will go to Disneyland. And here it is! Wow. Anyways, I will post pictures & everyhting when we get back! YAY!!

I found out this morning I have another bonified thumb sucker. Sheesh. I was really hoping to avoid that with Peyton, but no luck. Here is picture of her with her new found "friend".



This weekend was a fun filled weekend. It was very busy though. The girls had their birthday tea party on Saturday. It was so cute to see all the little girls get all dressed up. We had a total of 8 girls there. Here are a couple snap shots.





Then after the tea party Maddy had another birthday party to go to. This one was at Cosmic bowling. I dropped her off for that, and it looked like a ton of fun! Then she went to the slumber party after. It is so hard for me to let my little girl grow up. She, of course, did great. I am proud of her, and I know I am teaching her how to be respectful of other people and their property.

Then on Sunday, the girls went with Gwamma & Gwampa Johnson to see "Horton Hears a Who" and Trav & I got ready to have my family over for a pre-Disneyland dinner. Just to go over a basic iteneray & some rules about all of our attitudes while down there. It went really well, and everyone seemed to enjoy the food I prepared. I made Mexican Lasagna, and the best ever chocolate cake. Seriously, it is the best chocolate cake you will ever eat. Yummy. I think I will have a piece after I eat some lunch..

And yes, Disneyland is in only 5 days! I am so excited! I am hoping to get to see my oldest friend Susanne while down there, along with my bro Austin's girlfriend Heather who lives in LA going to the Fashion Institute. How cool is that? She is one hip chick. :-) And it's rubbing off on Austin. I tell him he's like a girl all the time now. He actually noticed that I got a new pair of jeans the other day. What guy does that?! My bro, I guess. Actually, Austin is my brother in law. I only have sisters.. And 4 brother in laws. But my other brother in laws don't give me anything to razz them about. :-) But I love em anyways.

Peyton is just waking up from her nap, so I best be pickin her up. See ya later..

Peyton Laughs!

Peyton has started laughing! And Oh MY is it the cutest thing! I hope to get it on video soon, so that I will have it for ever & ever. I am going to cherish every 1st this baby girl has because I am not having any more babies. Ever.

Alex is, right this very moment, Growling, yes, growling, at me because I am making her lie down for a "rest" And you know what? I am cherishing that as well. It's not as fun and sweet as a babies 1st laugh is, but you know, she is just trying to tell me that she is not happy. I wish she would use her words more then her icky sounds, but we are working on that. I have had to remind her that she needs to use her "happy voice" less & less nowadays, which is a pretty big improvement from what it was.

This last weekend was a ton of fun. We started out with the girls' 1st soccer game! Oh, was that funny! Alex "played", but really she just ran into people. She literally took the biggest girl on the other team out. I wish, wish, wish, I would have gotten it on tape! I seriously think I would be $10,000 richer someday if I had. (From America's Funniest Home Video's). Then that night Trav I took the 2 big girls bowling. It was so fun! Even though I wasn't feeling well. I had a fever & all the icky stuff, but I did ok. Trav kicked booty! He bowled a 200 game. Not bad for a guy who hasn't bowled in about 10 years. Here is a slideshow from our weekend..

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY ALEX!!!

Today is Alex's 4th birthday! I can not believe that 4 years ago today I had my 2nd beautiful daughter. We were totally surprised when she came out a girl. We had decided to not find out what she was until she was born, and knowing her now it fits that we didn't. She is constantantly surprising us with the things she can do. The girl can put together a 100 peice puzzle without help! She is starting to read too. She knows how to write her name, and is a great counter too. Oh and the girl dominates in the Memory Game. It's pretty embarrasing as a mom to get schooled by your kid, but I am so proud of her. Her behavior has improved drastically as well. She is such a great little girl now!

To celebrate this birthday we have done, and are going to do quite a few things. Last night we celebrated with my family at Red Robin in Salem. Here are some pictures from last night.


Today we are going to the girl's first soccer game of the spring season. Yes, I said girl's.. Maddy's soccer team is so small that the coaches, who happen to be my father in law & my husband, decided to put Alex in a shirt and let her "play". She is really in my mind to immature to play, but at least she can be a body on the field. It makes her feel big too. :-) Then tonight the 5 of us are all going bowling to celebrate Alex's actuall birthday. I am very excited to spend the evening with my family. Then tomorrow we are going to Trav's partents house to have lunch with them. We are having what Alex requested, CAKE, Chicken Nuggets, and French Fries. And yes, Alex did request the Cake first. Goes to show, the girl is mine.. I would have said the same thing. After lunch we will be going to Scotty's playhouse for Trav's Grandma's 80 something birthday. Sounds silly huh, but it's really more like a small family reunioun. So there you have it, our weekend in a pretty large nutshell.. Alex, Happy Birthday sweetheart, I duh du so so so much, and I am very proud of the girl you are becoming. Momma.

Maddy brought home a new pet for us yesterday. She named her Crystal. Which is funny because that is my brother in law's ex girlfriends name. :-) Hee Hee. Anyways, just thought I would share it with everyone else..

Yes, she brought us home a dead baby octopus. They are learning about sea animals in school and they got to bring these home so that they could teach us about them as well. How nice huh! Anyways, Maddy is a little bit confused about the whole "dead" thing. She has told us that octopuses have 8 legs (tenticles) with sucky things on them, (suckers), and that they live in very cold salt water. So when the girls were taking a bath last night Maddy asked me if I could fill the bath tub up with extra cold water when they were done, add salt to it so that she could put Crystal in it so she could swin again. I thought it was cute. Anyways, Crystal has been moved to the outside freezer for a couple of days so that Maddy can show her off when she wants, but she will soon be moved to her brand new home at the landfill. What a great place for Crystal, don't ya think? (Crystal the dead baby octopus, not the bro's ex..)

Peyton is 3 months old!!

Our baby girl is 3 months old today. Wow, time goes by so fast! She is such a blessing and a joy. We all love her so much. She has changed quite alot as well from the day she was born in looks, and she is talking so much nowadays too. When she is on the floor doing tummy time, she now holds her self up and looks around. She loves to sleep in her swing, and she is now sleeping almost 11 hours a night. From 9:30 p.m. to around 8:00 a.m. in her bassinet.. Soon to be moved into her own bedroom. Yay for that! Update..

I had my endocrinolgist appiontment yesterday.. And it for the most part went as I expected it to. Except when they got some of my lab results back.. They fould that my liver enzymes are high. So today I had an ultrasound done on my liver to see what is causing that. I am praying that everything turns out normal, but we'll see. The doc did put me on Tapazole, but since my liver is out of whack, I can't take it until they figure out what is wrong with that. So I can continue nursing for at least the next few days. :-) I did go to Target today after my ultrasound and purchased some bigger bottles for Peyton when I can no longer nurse her. I feel like I am falling apart. I can honestly say I have never been so scared & felt so helpless. I don't know what is going on in my body, and right now I am not being treated for anything but my racing heart. Oh yeah, my resting heart rate is 130 bpm. No wonder I am so shaky & tired all the time.

I will post again when I hear something from my doc.. Hopefully it will be soon. Stace
