A day at the beach

I took my girls to the beach today. Alone. Wow, was that more work then I thought it was going to be! We went onto the beach for a while, then we went to the outlet mall, where Miss Maddy got her ears pierced!

Then, we went to Mo's for lunch. Even though I packed us one. Oh well. After Mo's we went back down on the beach at Taft's and played for a while. It was so windy too. Like, uncomfortably windy. So windy that the sand hurt when hit bare skin. But other then that it was a beautiful clear day.

Hello blog,

It's been a while. And to be quite honest, unless something great, funny, or awkward happens soon, it'll probably be a while til I am back.

See the thing is, I am busy. Like, really busy. And my Peyton, she's been sick. Like, really sick. And I just don't have time for you right now.

The good news is my friend, I am off all next week. I'll just be me & the girls. I just bet I'll have some sort of somethin to tell you then.

We went to some friends house for a BBQ on Memorial day Sunday, and they were gracious enough to allow our kids to ride their horse. In dresses, and, ahem, flip flops. Nice eh?

1 Park = 3 Happy Kids

I promised my kids a trip to the park on the way home from dropping my niece Olivia off a few weekends ago when we had the Libbsters for the weekend. And as you can well see, the park makes for 3 very happy girls. I love it.

The PRE-SCHOOL GRADUATE! Alex made it through Pre-school and is officially, dare I say it, a KINDERGARTENER. Way to Go Alex!

Hows abouts a little game of 3 on 3?

Maddy was invited to play with another team for a 3 on 3 soccer tournament a couple weekends ago. It was a fun, HOT, & exhausting day for her. She was such a trooper! Good job Maddy!


If you click on the picture below, you will see that 1. Maddy is still sucking her thumb. At 7. And 2. Her index finger is knuckle deep in her nose. That is so a genetic trait from good ol Dad.
